We went there Friday at 10:30 and we sat immediately, we ordered tum yum soup which was nice , spring rolls were nice , I loved the fried rice with shrimp , we ordered also the beef chill which was delicious, we ordered chicken something o haven’t try it but my friend said it was nice. Had Tom yum soup with seafood was a unique soup, one of the best soup I have ever tried. Exotic. Sweet chilli beef fry, which to me tastes very close to Chinese/Mongolian beef. Excellent. The stir fry vegetables were crisp and tasted great. Overall I was more impressed with this place than PF cheng's I had last week. Thai house tastes more authentic and to me was just like the Chinese stir fry places I am used to. Economical prices. The only thing I really, hated actually, is the smell. When you go wash your hands it stinks like sewer/old grimey water. And that same smell goes over by the table on the ground floor. Next time I'll sit upstairs. Don't sit by the sink.
We visited Tai House Restaurant as a family. Although it was a bit difficult to find parking, there were plenty of tables available inside. The staff were friendly and even approached our baby warmly, providing service in a kind and attentive manner. We ordered some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, including Tom Yum soup, stir-fried seafood, and morning glory. The food tasted quite good. Little bit chinese cuisine inspired rather than local, I especially appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices, which made it enjoyable to have Thai food here. We ordered the small size for the morning glory, but the portion turned out to be quite large. On the other hand, the stir-fried seafood was ordered in the largest size, but the portion was smaller than expected. Next time, I’d prefer to order several dishes in smaller sizes to try more variety.
I was genuinely impressed by the seafood Tom Yum soup—it was flavorful, aromatic, and had the perfect balance of spice, sourness, and creaminess. The shrimp were fresh and tender, and the broth had a depth that reminded me of authentic Thai cuisine. This is hands down the best Tom Yum I’ve had in Saudi Arabia, and honestly, the only better one I’ve ever tasted was during my trip to Bangkok. Alongside the soup, I also tried the Sweet Chilli Sea Food and the Fried Rice Sea Food. Both dishes were delicious in their own way—the sweet chilli seafood had a rich, tangy glaze with just the right level of heat, and the fried rice was packed with flavor and generous chunks of seafood. Each dish complemented the other, making the meal feel complete. If you're craving Thai-style seafood, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommended for both taste and quality!
Seafood tomyang soup was very delicious and highly recommendable. Also shrimp tempura is worth to order as well.
